is looking for a Reefer Carrier Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of reefer carrier accounts. You will use your strong phone skills to build relationships with carriers, negotiate rates, and ensure on-time delivery of shipments
WHAT DO WE PREFER
Previous experience in carrier sales or a related field
Familiarity with reefer industry and transportation logistics
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in using CRM software for managing customer relationships
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
Highly motivated to succeed and the ability to thrive in a competitive environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skill
Among other things, Carrier Sales Representative will also do:
Assist in the negotiation of competitive rates while staying current on market trends and pricing
Ensure that communication of load details and shipment parameters to carrier dispatch and drivers throughout the lifespan of the shipment is in compliance
Oversee the monitoring of shipments on a daily basis to ensure coverage, on-time performance, and address any in-transit issues
Effectively manage the communication of load statuses, issues, and concerns to sales representatives in a timely and effective manner
Assist the team in learning and implementing effective sales skills
Train, and develop new team members
